Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance on iOS in France Q4 2024

During the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in France showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 94K in late October. Active users exhibited a slight fluctuation, starting at approximately 17.6M and peaking at about 18.1M in October, then settling around 17.1M by the end of December.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw weekly downloads rise to about 53K in late October, with active users climbing to a high of 9.1M the same month before stabilizing around 8.2M by year-end.

Polarsteps Travel experienced a varied trend in downloads, reaching a high of 19.2K in early October and dipping to 9.1K mid-December. Active users also varied, peaking at 228K in late October and ending the year just above 212K.

Google Earth maintained steady downloads, with a slight increase in late December reaching 16.5K. Active users showed a peak in early October at around 397K, with a slight decline to 322K by the end of December.

Kopilote recorded its highest downloads in late October at 10K, while active users hovered around 43K throughout the quarter, showing minimal fluctuation.
